Prior to joining Beekman in 2007, Mr. Zhu was a risk analyst at CTC Consulting where he helped construct the hedge fund portion of client portfolios and monitored the risk levels of hedge fund managers.
Prior to CTC he was a student portfolio manager for the MBA Investment Fund, L.L.C.
where he co-managed growth, value, and enhanced index portfolios.
His responsibilities at the MBA Investment Fund included coverage of the technology sector as well as trading.
Prior to that, he worked at HBK Investments where he developed proprietary system software and trading tools.
Mr. Zhu holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas as well as a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
He has passed the CFA Level III examination.
