Prior to joining the CPP Investment Board in November 2003, Mr. Runions spent seven years as portfolio manager with the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board and its subsidiary The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited.
Mr. Runions has worked as a regional asset manager at Morguard Investments Limited and as a real estate consultant at Royal LePage Appraisal and Consulting Services.
Mr. Runions received his Honours BA (urban development) from the University of Western Ontario and has his Appraisal Institute of Canada, AACI designation.
