He joins Seix Investment on February 27th, 2012, from Greenwich Associates, where he served as Managing Director in the firm's investment management consulting practice providing business strategy consulting services to more than a dozen institutional asset management organizations in the U.S.
and in Europe.
Prior to his tenure at Greenwich Associates, he served as Executive Vice President and Head of Global Distribution & Client Service for Pyramis Global Advisors, the primary institutional asset management subsidiary of Fidelity Investments.
In that capacity, he was responsible for sales, consultant relations and client service activities in multiple U.S.
and foreign locations, and he established the firm's first sales presence in London and Hong Kong.
Earlier, he held similar executive leadership positions at Principal Global Investors and Citigroup Asset Management.
McNelis earned an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business, and a BS in Economics from the same institution.
He is a member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE), and is a past board member of the Institutional Investor Institute.
