Mr. O’Connell started his career with Axiom Capital Group, Inc. in 2000 as an intern while at Boston College.
Upon graduation, he joined full-time as an Analyst and has been with Axiom ever since.
Throughout his 13 year career with Axiom, Mr. O’Connell has worked in all aspects of merchant banking, including raising debt/equity capital, completing mergers & acquisitions, and lending capital into troubled situations.
In 2007, Mr. O’Connell acquired, along with Axiom Managing Director Zack Farahmand, a chain of 19 Little Caesars franchises located throughout southwest Virginia, and now serves as President of that company.

in Finance from Boston College.
