Oleg Konev is a managing director of Da Vinci Capital.
He has over 25 years of experience in private equity, real estate management, pharmaceutical distribution, and retail.
In 1994, Oleg co-founded and became chief executive officer of Rosta Pharmaceutical Group (known as Rossib Farmacia before 2002), a Siberian pharmaceutical distributor acquired by Tamro, a Scandinavian pharmaceutical distributor, in 2006.
At the time of sale, Oleg had developed Rosta into Russia’s second-largest pharmaceutical distributor, with approximately 2,000 employees and USD 1 billion in annual sales.
From 1992–2006, Oleg was founder of Rossib and Frutos, two conglomerates engaged in the retail sale of fruits and vegetables, as well as in investment in real estate and technoparks, in Siberia, with annual revenues of approximately USD 20 million.
He was also recently nominated to the International Financial Centre Reform Taskforce.
Oleg attended the Harvard Business School real estate management program and the IMD Business School “high performance boards” program in 2007 and holds an undergraduate degree in railway management from Novosibirsk State Institute of Railway Engineering.
