Profil
An Honours Economics graduate from the University of Toronto, Mr. Stefnitz started his career in 1957 analyzing economic statistics for Babson's, a legendary name in the investment advisory business.
He earned his CFA Charter in 1969 and was Secretary of the Investment Counsel Association of Ontario.
In 1972, Mr. Stefnitz joined Montreal Trust Company at Head Office in Montreal, and as Assistant Vice President, Investments he directed portfolio managers from Halifax to Vancouver.
He returned to Ontario and founded Priority Capital Management Inc. in 1988, where he was joined by Fred Marconi in 1995.
In May 2004 Mr. Stefnitz was appointed Chairman of Priority Capital when it became a Division of Rae & Lipskie Investment Counsel Inc.
