Nina Mehlhaf is the anchor of NewsChannel 21 at 5pm and 6pm.
She joined KTVZ in July of 2002.
She also reports weekly for Wednesday's news extra Good Kids, a feature story on kids doing positive things in Central Oregon.
Nina has hands-on experience working in all facets of the media.
She has worked at The Oregonian newspaper, in the sports department at The Register- Guard, held internships at KGW-TV in Portland, Oregon and at KEZI-TV in Eugene, Oregon.
Nina has received awards for best hard news coverage from Oregon Press Women and the University of Oregon Journalism School.
Nina was born in Portland, Oregon and is a graduate of the University of Oregon, earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication.
In her spare time here in Central Oregon, she likes to play tennis, ski, raft down the Deschutes River, camp with friends and cook
