Mr. Nigel Smith is a Managing Director at Colliers International (Hong Kong) Ltd.
Mr. Smith is responsible for the strategic direction of the Hong Kong business, to lead the growth and diversification initiatives and develop leadership talent.
He oversees all service lines as well as shared services including investment sales, office leasing, strata-title sales, project management, retail leasing, industrial property leasing, residential leasing and sales, valuation and advisory, research, marketing and communications, human resources and finance.
He is also a member of the Colliers International Asia Leadership team.
Mr. Smith has over 28 years of experience and is a specialist in office marketing, leasing and design.
Based in Hong Kong since 1990, he has been responsible for the formulation of many project driven solutions which have assisted developers to achieve their real estate goals.
He worked on 50 Connaught Road in Central Hong Kong, which achieved the highest rents in the world and the highest capital value per sq ft in Hong Kong.
Having represented over 100 Grade A pure office and mixed use developments, in recent years he has gained recognition as a specialist in the design, branding, marketing and leasing of “Tall Buildings” such as TAIPEI 101, 2IFC and ICC Hong Kong, Ping An IFC Shenzhen and China World Tower Beijing.
Mr. Smith holds a ?Bachelor of Science Degree (Honors) in Estate Management from the Southbank University, London, a Post Graduate RICS Diploma in Project Management, CEM and earned his MBA in real estate and construction from the Reading University.
He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (FHKIS) and a Chairman of North Asia RICS Commercial Property Professional Group Board.
