Prior to joining Lapides in April 2006, Mr. Reeves was Senior Managing Director at Third Avenue Management, in New York City.
While at Third Avenue Management, his responsibilities included planning and executing the institutional sales, marketing and client service effort for the firm as well as direct responsibility for a variety of institutional, family office and advisory relationships.
Mr. Reeves also spent nine years with Memphis, TN-based NewSouth Capital Management, an institutional money management firm where he was a Vice President and co-led the marketing and client service effort.
Prior to business school, he worked for five years in higher education institutional advancement.
He holds a BA from the University of the South (Sewanee) and earned his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Stamford CFA Society and the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives (AIMSE).
