Gelband is a Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Head of Fixed Income at ExodusPoint Capital Management LP.

Before joining Millennium, he worked at Lehman Brothers from 1983 until May 2007 and again from June through October 2008.
He had various trading and management responsibilities over that time including Head of Liquid Markets, Head of Fixed Income in Asia-Pacific, Global Head of Fixed Income, and Global Head of Capital Markets.
He was also a member of the Lehman Brothers Management and Executive committees.
He is the former Chairman of the Ross School Advisory Board at the University of Michigan.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Georgia, and he earned a master's degree in business administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
