Mr. LaTronica formed The Excalibur Research Group in 2003.
Prior to Excalibur, he was Managing Director of the Transportation and Logistics Group at Morgan Joseph & Co., having joined the firm in July 2001.
He is the former Director of Research at HCFP/Brenner Securities, where he focused on specialty transportation companies.
Mr. LaTronica has an extensive background in securities research.
He was the Director of Research and Institutional Sales at Pauli Johnson Capital & Research in St. Louis, and at C.L.
King & Associates in New York.
Mr. LaTronica was the Director of Equity and Fixed-Income Research with Gruntal & Co., from 1992 to 1997.
Previously, he was the Director of Research, and an aerospace/defense electronics analyst, with Martin Simpson & Co., Inc. Mr. LaTronica began his Wall Street career with Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. more than 25 years ago.
Recently, he was recognized by the Wall Street Journal as a "Master Stock Picker" in its 2003 "Best of the Street" survey, with a 49% return in 2002.
A Supervisory Analyst, a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and of the Truckload Carriers Association, Mr. LaTronica attended Franklin and Marshall College, where his academic concentration was economics and political science.
