Before joining Westport in 2006, Mr. Landau was a Managing Director at IXIS, a French investment bank, where he was responsible for originating, underwriting and closing structured debt and equity products.
Mr. Landau joined IXIS in 2002, after working at Bear Stearns for five years, most recently as a Managing Director.
Prior to Bear Stearns, he was a Director at Deutsche Bank for two years, and a Director and Real Estate Department Head at HSBC for three years.
He also worked at Citibank for four years as Vice President in the Real Estate Finance Group.
Mr. Landau remains active with the Real Estate Lenders Association, previously serving as its Chairman and currently serving on its Board of Directors.
Mr. Landau received a B.S., with Honors, from SUNY-Albany, and an M.S.
in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University.
