Profil

As Chief Financial Officer, Mary is responsible for the financial management and administrative functions of the firm.
Prior to joining Scale, Mary served as CFO at Global Catalyst Partners, an international venture firm with more than $300 million under management and approximately 250 limited partners.
Before that, Mary was the controller at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
There, she was responsible for management, accounting, reporting and investor relations for more than 25 venture capital funds with over $3 billion in assets and more than 1,000 limited partners.
Mary also held a senior finance position at Polycom during its early stages and assisted in building the company’s infrastructure and in completing its successful IPO in 1996.
She began her finance career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers.
An active C.P.A., Mary holds an M.B.A.
in Management and Finance and a B.S.
in Commerce from Santa Clara University.
Mary currently serves as a board member and treasurer of the VCBC, an organization for financial professionals in the venture industry.
She is also a member of the National Venture Capital Association CFO Taskforce.
