Prior to Circularis, Mark served as Managing Director of the TPG Alternative & Renewable Technologies (TPG ART) Fund.
Mark joined TPG in 2008, originally investing in both healthcare and industrial biotechnology within the TPG Biotechnology platform, before co-founding the TPG ART platform.
Mark was involved with multiple investments during his time at TPG, including Progyny (NASDAQ:PGNY), Mercatus, Advantek Waste Management, DNAnexus, and Alphabet Energy, among others.
Prior to TPG, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Mark’s doctoral work in nanotechnology was recognized with several highly cited publications in leading scientific journals, such as Science and Nature.
His work was licensed as part of the founding IP at Nanosys.
Mark is passionate about using technology and capital to drive real and sustainable impact in the world.
