Mr. Mark Chesler is a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management LP.
Prior to joining Oaktree Capital Management in 2012, Mr. Chesler was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for the firm’s industrial services and engineering & construction investment banking practice, with a strong focus on energy-oriented companies.
Prior to re-joining Credit Suisse in 2006, he spent six years at Lehman Brothers, most recently directing the firm's E&C investment banking effort.
Mr. Chesler started his investment banking career in 1999 with Credit Suisse First Boston.
Prior to investment banking, he was a Manager with Price Waterhouse in their restructuring, turnaround and interim management consulting practice.
Mr. Chesler received a B.A.
degree in Economics from Pomona College and earned his M.B.A from the UCLA Anderson School of Business.
