Mr. Mark A.
Hamilton is a Chief Investment Officer at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co. LLC.
He has responsibility for the firm's investment and portfolio management efforts.
He chairs the Investment Policy Committee, which is directly responsible for the firm’s asset allocation strategies and the selection of investment managers for client portfolios.
He is also member of the Investment Strategy Committee and the Leadership Team.
Mr. Hamilton has over 24 years of investment experience.
Prior to Hirtle Callaghan, he was Chief Investment Officer of Asset Allocation for OppenheimerFunds, where he directed a team of more than 20 investors managing approximately $12 billion in global multi-asset solutions.
In this role, he designed and implemented a range of strategies across traditional fundamental, quantitative, and alternative investments.
Prior to his five year leadership tenure at OppenheimerFunds, Mr. Hamilton spent 19 years at AllianceBernstein where in his last role he was Investment Director for Dynamic Asset Allocation with responsibility across global equity, bond, credit, currency, and real asset sectors.
His previous leadership roles at AllianceBernstein included Director of Fixed Income Plus Strategies and Co-Head of UK and European Fixed Income.
He began his career as a global fixed income portfolio manager specializing in interest rates, currencies and macroeconomics.
Throughout his career, he has had extensive experience with institutional, sub-advisory, retail, and private client channels.
Mr. Hamilton holds an M.S.
in Finance and Applied Economics from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A.
in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California.
