Robeco Institutional Asset Management BV (RIAM) is the Netherlands-based asset management subsidiary of Robeco Europe NV, itself a subsidiary of ORIX Corp. (TYO: 8591, ADR: IX), a Japanese business conglomerate that started operations in 1964. Headquartered in Rotterdam, the firm was founded in 1929 and provides investment products and services to institutional and private clients through locations in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia. RIAM is a socially responsible investor which engages in active dialogue with the companies in which they invest about good corporate governance and subjects of environmental or social interest. Allianz Nederland Asset Management BV (ANAM) is the wholly-owned Dutch subsidiary of Allianz Nederland Groep N.V., ultimately owned by Allianz SE (FR: ALV, ADR: AZSEY) in Germany. The firm was founded in 2003 and changed their name from Holland Beleggingsgroep to Allianz Nederland Asset Management in 2006 to reflect the Allianz brand. Headquartered in Nieuwegein, ANAM provides mutual fund management services to individual and institutional clients.
