Novakoff, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Jarislowsky, Fraser Ltd.
He leads the firm’s Emerging Markets Equity strategies, as well as co-managing the Global Equity and All Countries Equity strategies.
He joined the firm as a Research Analyst in 2003 and became a Partner in 2008.
He is also a member of the Investment Strategy Committee.
He has covered a broad spectrum of sectors throughout the years and has built an extensive network of industry contacts in developed and emerging markets.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Novakoff worked for CIBC World Markets in investment banking (Industrial Growth Group) in New York City.
Before joining the investment industry, he worked for four years as an engineer and cost controller for Pratt & Whitney Canada in Montreal.
He received his B.Eng.
(Mechanical) degree from McGill University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
