At the Austrian Research Centers he was in charge of international R&D collaborations and also for the business development of useful earth observation applications.
Lukas Madl has also served as an external expert for the European Commission in evaluating research and technology projects.
Mr. Madl studied genetics at Vienna University.
He greatly enhanced his knowledge by taking in-house and external courses while pursuing his career.
He first focused on methods of international project management, quality control of good clinical practices, and drug development.
As a consequence, he also studied laboratory automation, microtechnology, biochips, earth observation, and geo-infrastructure.
While holding a full-time job, Lukas Madl also completed academic training in the field of geoinformatics at Salzburg University.
His education is rounded off by various courses and seminars about research and innovation management, business management, and IT.
