He has executed M&A advisory and restructuring related assignments, including the acquisitions of Equity Office Properties and Hilton by The Blackstone Group, the acquisition of Archstone Smith by Tishman Speyer and Lehman Brothers, the sale of Extended Stay Hotels by Blackstone and the sale of CNL Hotels & Resorts to Morgan Stanley and Ashford.
Prior to investment banking, Mr. Eichen was a practicing attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
Mr. Eichen received a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in economics from Harvard University in 1989 and a Juris Doctor cum laude - Order of the Coif from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1994.
