Ms. Carter joined the UO Investment Group in October 2004 as a financials sector equity analyst, with little formal finance training but plenty of enthusiasm.
In addition to her business education at UO, her background includes graphic design, project management, and real estate appraisal.
Currently, Ms. Carter works for Duncan & Brown Real Estate Analysts in Eugene, Oregon, and looks forward to pursuing the MAI professional designation and growing her appraisal practice after graduation.
Before returning to Eugene in 2002 to pursue degrees at Lane Community College and University of Oregon, Ms. Carter worked as a project manager for 5 Oaks Creative Development & Design in San Dimas, California, helping such clients as Girl Skateboard, Creative Nail, Yamaha, DVS, Bays-Brown and others develop retail products and packaging.
Her project management focused on production design, vendor negotiations, and client relations.
She also worked in the marketing department of Eclectic Products, Inc. in Springfield, Oregon, designing package components for the popular Shoe Goo, Famowood, and Painter’s Nail Hole Filler brands.
