Prior to Panthera Capital, he spent seven years at a multi-billion dollar convert manager where he focused on TMT and consumer discretionary sectors and was promoted to partner.
Prior to the buy-side, at Rovi Corporation (d/b/a TiVo), he led financings, acquisitions and IR and completed over 20 transactions including over $1.5B of derivatives, $2B of debt financings, and over $3.5B in acquisitions, e.g., the $2B LBO of Gemstar TV-Guide.
His experience and core skills include identifying investment and acquisition opportunities, financial analysis/valuation across the capital structure (debt, equity, and derivatives), structuring and negotiating deals, presenting to Boards, meeting with investors and fund raising.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
