Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sharf spent 19 years as a contract programmer, web developer, and database designer for government and private industry, and as a defense and intelligence analyst prior to that.
He recently collaborated on research analyzing the style-box classification of mutual funds and stocks.
Mr. Sharf graduated with a BS in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Virginia in 1987.
He received his MBA and his Masters of Science in Finance from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business in June 2005.
Mr. Sharf holds Series 7, 86 and 87 licenses.
