Mr. Joshua W.
Lancaster, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at Brown McLeod, Inc. He has spent the last 28 years in the investment industry, 24 of those years with fee-only financial advising firms doing just about every job to be done.
He has experience in the investment process from the selection of the investment models to the execution of trades.
He has held roles which include making sure that portfolio operations and the client experience run well and that the firm is compliant with the many regulations that govern the industry.
As the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, he is responsible for making sure that the investment process runs smoothly.
In his role as Chief Compliance Officer, he strives to make sure the firm continues to meet its fiduciary responsibilities.
Additionally, he partners with Mr. Daniel Scott to help implement the firm’s strategic vision and ensure continuity of leadership.
Mr. Lancaster was previously employed as an Investment Services Officer by Amsouth Investment Management Co LLC.
He received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Member of the CFA Society of Alabama.
