John graduated from University College, London with an Honours degree in Economics.
Prior to co-founding SG AM in 1997, he was a director at Mercury Asset Management, where he was a member of the Management Committee for MAM’s worldwide business and Chairman of the Asset Allocation Group.
His principal responsibility is as head of strategy, developing the asset allocation policy for clients’ portfolios.
He is also a senior UK equity fund manager.
John manages the SocGen Global Managed and SocGen Stockmarket Managed Unit Trusts, plus a number of mandates for UK institutional clients.
