John Ward has been Chairman of Scottish Enterprise /SC/ since February 2004.
He is a Trustee of the National Museums of Scotland and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, The Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Royal Society of Arts and Manufacturers, and the Institute of Bankers.
Prior to joining Scottish Enterprise, Mr. Ward worked at IBM.
Previously, he was Chairman of the European Asset Trust NV.
He is a Chartered Accountant.
Mr. Ward received degree from the Edinburgh Academy and Fettes College.
