Mr. Jeffrey R.
Norton is Executive Director & Portfolio Manager at Nomura Corporate Research & Asset Management, Inc. He is responsible for the emerging market team’s sovereign credit analysis, the assessment of global economic factors, relative value assessment within emerging markets and across fixed income asset classes, trade execution, and overall strategy.
Prior to joining NCRAM in May 1996 as an assistant portfolio manager and trader and helped launch NCRAM’s emerging market effort, he spent four years in the emerging market fixed income group at Trust Company of the West where he was responsible for trading both local currency and dollar-denominated emerging market debt portfolios.
At TCW, he was also responsible for trading for several portfolios that used leverage in an effort to enhance returns.
He was responsible for securing funding and pledging assets for those accounts.
Mr. Norton received his BS in Business Management and International Finance from Brigham Young University.He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.
