Safran, CFA MBA, is a Chief Investment Officer at Texas Christian University Endowment.

Following a merger, he served as portfolio manager for Smith Asset Management, L.P.
responsible for relative-value equity strategies.
Prior to joining TCU, he was a senior investment analyst for Texas Capital Bank.
Mr. Safran earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and his BBA in finance and minor in economics from TCU in 2001.
