He is a founder and lead manager of the Amber Trust S.C.A.
Before joining Firebird, he worked for international development agencies in the Middle East where he lived for several years.
His writings on the global energy market and emerging markets have appeared in Foreign Affairs, Barron’s, Middle East Economic Survey (MEES) and other publications.
He is a graduate of the College of St. Thomas and Columbia University.
Mr. Richard is on the board of directors of AB Snaige and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
