United Way of Escambia County, Inc. is a non-profit organization that unites various agencies, organizations, businesses, and people to fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. United Way of Escambia County is based in Pensacola, FL. The non-profit company raises funds to meet critical needs in the community by having community-minded employers lend key personnel to serve as ambassadors. These ambassadors support between five and eight companies by planning and implementing successful fundraising campaigns. The company also sponsors the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), a free federal program that supports volunteers aged 55 and above. The program is focused on uniting the community and leveraging resources to improve lives.
