Dr. Ira Levin is a Director at Science Foundation Arizona.
He is a senior research leader and scientific director of Intramural Research of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.
He is an expert in membrane dynamics, structural biology and spectroscopic imaging.
He is internationally recognized for his spectroscopic accomplishments and has been honored with many awards.
Dr. Levin earned a BS from the University of Virginia and his PhD from Brown University.
He completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Washington.
