Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of the online retailer Fine Flowers, which he managed from the time that company raised seed capital until it became profitable.

Mr. Jones graduated from Brown University in 1983, with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and Semiotics.
He received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991.
