Mr. Gregory L.
Hopper is Senior Portfolio Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management, Inc. Mr. Hopper joined Aberdeen in May 2013 following the acquisition of Artio Global Management where he held a similar role in their Fixed Income Group.
Prior to that, he was at Deutsche Bank where he managed high yield bonds first at Harris Investment Management, where he inaugurated the firm’s high yield product, and then at Zurich Scudder Investments, where he was responsible for all institutional high yield bond portfolios.
In 2002, following Deutsche Bank’s acquisition of Zurich Scudder, he joined the firm to launch the firm’s current set of high yield products.
He also held various roles including managing high yield bonds at Bankers Trust, PaineWebber’s Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management, Drexel Burnham Lambert, and Fleet National Bank.
He received his BA degree in Economics from Beloit College and an MBA from Columbia University.
