Prior to joining Madison Marquette, Mr. Bergan began his shopping center career with Dayton Hudson Properties, later becoming Vice President of Operations for The Center Companies and Senior Vice President for General Growth Management.
Mr. Bergan is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers serving on its faculty board as well as numerous panels and committees.
He has also been a frequent guest curriculum lecturer at several colleges and universities, including the University of Minnesota, University of North Dakota and Georgia Tech.
