Mr. George A.
Khouri is a Managing Director at Growth Capital Partners LP.
He joined Growth Capital Partners in April 2003 as a Managing Director.
Prior to joining Growth Capital Partners, Mr. Khouri was a Managing Director of Avalon Group, Ltd., bringing to the firm over 30 years of senior level investment banking and operational experience.
He also was a Co-Founder and Managing Director of New York Venture Space LLC, the firm’s interim, shared workspace facility.
Prior to joining Avalon, Mr. Khouri was a full time consultant and a Director of CVF Technologies, Inc., a company with interests in emerging growth companies.
During his career, Mr. Khouri has been responsible for structuring, pricing and selling private placements of debt, equity and debt with equity totaling in the billions of dollars.
Debt transactions placed have ranged in quality from Aaa to B and in size from $500,000 to $1 billion.
He has completed M&A transactions with sale prices ranging from $55 million to $1.6 billion.
Mr. Khouri began his investment banking career at Salomon Brothers Inc., where he directed the Private Placement Department and later served in the M&A Department focusing on leveraged buyouts.
Later, he was a Managing Director at Prudential-Bache Securities with an initial assignment in the M&A area, followed by a role as President of Prudential-Bache Capital Partners, a $72 million private equity fund.
Mr. Khouri later served as the head of New York Capital Markets for Nomura Securities International, Inc. Mr. Khouri graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Economics and French and has an M.B.A.
from New York University.
