Dr. Fernando D.
Gonzalez is a Chief Investment Officer at Boreal Capital Management LLC.
He is globally responsible for the definition and communication of the firm’s investment policy as well as its translation into investable solutions.
With a deep background in advisory activities, he is also responsible for managing all proprietary discretionary mandates.
Before joining to Boreal Capital Management, Dr. Gonzalez worked as a Senior Manager at Deloitte’s Swiss strategy-consulting practice for the financial services industry.
Previously, he led the Investment Products & Investment Advisory department at ABN AMRO Private Banking after holding the Head Investment Office position.
He has also worked at Clariden Bank and BBVA Private Banking.
Dr. Gonzalez is a PhD in International Affairs and Political Economy from the University of St. Gallen and a CFA charter holder.
He also holds and Executive MBA by IMD, a Master in Financial Markets from the BBVA School of Finance, a Master in Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Bachelor in Mathematics from the U.N.E.D.
