As President of Shay Assets, Mr. Sammons leads the direction of the company's strategy as well as the overall implementation and execution of the Shay business model.
Specifically, this has involved oversight of the company's portfolio management capabilities, maintenance of client relationships, and expertise with respect to legal and compliance issues.
Previously, he held the position of Executive Vice President within the company.
Prior to joining the Shay organization in 1983, Mr. Sammons spent over 20 years with the Republic Bank of Dallas, where he eventually became Senior Vice President and Manager of Fixed Income Securities.
