Bennett is Executive Director & Senior Portfolio Adviser at Vontobel Asset Management, Inc. Prior to joining Vontobel Asset Management in 2012, Mr. Bennett was a senior salesman of European equities for U.S.-based institutions at European Securities Network-ESN, New York.
At Société Générale from 1994 to 2011, he worked as a salesman in the New York location, from 2001 to 2011, and as head of the European cash equities team in the Zurich location, from 1994 to 2001.
From 1989 to 1994 he was a salesman at Swiss Bank Corporation now UBS AG – SBC Securities Zurich.
He began his financial career in 1983 at American International Group – AIU as an underwriter, a role he continued in, until 1989.
Mr. Bennett received an M.A.
in international relations from the Paul H.
Nitze School at Johns Hopkins University and he received a B.A.
in the same from Lewis and Clark College.
He holds a portfolio management certificate from New York University and holds the following FINRA Licenses Series 7 and 63.
