Before joining Flagship in 1999, Mr. Farrahar was Vice President of Applera Corporation, where he was responsible for the integration of PerSeptive Biosystems with Applera Corporation following the merger of the two companies in 1998.
Earlier, Mr. Farrahar had a long career with Digital Equipment Corporation in both human resources and operations.
He also became a member of DEC's Executive Committee reporting to the CEO for the last several years of his tenure there.
