Mr. Osborne was most recently Partner and Head of Buyouts, Asia, for 3i, an international private equity firm with over US$ 12 billion in assets under management.
He has 25 years of PE experience in Europe and Asia investing across buyouts, growth capital and infrastructure situations.
As the senior partner involved in multiple transactions he was responsible for many of 3i's successful investments including SR Technics, HSS, Freightliner, Sparrowhawk and Global Energy Services.
Among other sectors he has relevant investing experience of rail (both passenger and freight), aviation services and alternative energy.
Since 2008 Mr. Osborne has been based in Singapore.
He holds a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
