Mr. Clark founded Clark Capital Management, LLC, in 1994 and merged his business with Sheets Smith Wealth Management in 2006.
He developed the Rational Framework to analyze companies based on value and quality in order to make sound investments with an adequate margin of safety to create value for clients.
Mr. Clark created The Piedmont Select Value Fund in 2005 and co-manages it with David Gilbert.
In addition to managing stock portfolios, he also builds and manages portfolios using mutual funds as the primary investment vehicles.
Before founding Clark Capital, he was a Quantum Portfolio manager with Prudential Securities.
He holds a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University.
