He currently serves on the board of the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, he is the treasurer of the West Michigan Planned Giving Group, and is a member of the Grand Rapids Community Foundation Professional Advisory Committee.
He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Grand Rapids.
Mr. Baas received his MBA from Western Michigan University and his BA in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
