Dr. Christian Jochum is a Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS Global Asset Management New York.
As the lead portfolio manager, he is responsible for a range of global bond strategies and had contributed to the Euro fixed income strategy.
He was previously the Head of Global Bonds at UBS Global Asset Management UK where his team was responsible for investment decisions taken for and implemented in multi market / multi sector bond portfolios including FX.
He was also a member of the Fixed Income Investment Committee.
Joined UBS Global Asset Management in 1999, he first worked within the research & asset allocation group then moved to fixed income where he focused on risk management & credit valuation.
Prior to joining UBS, he was as a Research Associate at the Swiss Institute for International Economics & Applied Research.
He had published a number of research papers in academic journals.
Dr. Jochum holds PhD title from University of St. Gallen Switzerland, an MSC title from University of Warwick UK and Dipl.
