As Vice President at Chrysalis Ventures, Charlie identifies new investments and investment themes and collaborates with the management teams of existing portfolio companies across the firm’s focus areas of technology and healthcare to build valuable businesses.
He works closely with the firm’s active investments in AlayaCare, BehaVR, Confluent Health, Edj Analytics, Foundation Radiology Group, GoNoodle, meQuilibrium, Regent Education, and Trapelo Health.
He also has worked with many of the firm’s graduates, including Digitalsmiths (sold to TiVo), HCCA (sold to WindRose), Lucina Health (sold to Unified Physician Management), MyHealthDirect (sold to Experian Health), Sanovia (sold to BV Investment Partners), StraighterLine (sold to BV Investment Partners) and XLerant (sold to Constellation Software).
Prior to joining Chrysalis Ventures in 2012, Charlie worked at Innova Memphis, a Tennessee-based venture capital firm, where he gained private-company investing experience working with the firm’s healthcare, technology, and medical devices investments.
In the community, Charlie is actively involved with Louisville’s Food Literacy Project and the Tennessee Center for Civic Engagement, combining his passions for civic awareness, health, and education.
Charlie holds a BA with Honors from Williams College.
