While at Lazard, Mr. Martin actively managed and contributed to the execution of various forms of debtor-focused corporate restructurings on a global basis totaling over $1 trillion in debt including: chapter 11 proceedings, debt-for-debt and debt-for-equity exchange offers, §363 asset sales, rights offerings, amendments, and open market debt repurchases.
Mr. Martin’s transactional exposure was across a broad range of industries including: Chemicals, Energy, Financial Institutions, Industrials, Power & Utilities, and TMT.
From 2003-2006, Mr. Martin was an Investment Banking Analyst in the M&A group at Petrie Parkman & Co. While at Petrie Parkman, Mr. Martin completed several global upstream, midstream and downstream corporate and asset valuations while working on over thirty completed merger, divestiture, private placement, and restructuring transactions all across the energy industry.
Mr. Martin received an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University and a BBA from The University of Texas.
