Mr. Kennedy is a senior vice president and director of fixed income with portfolio management and analyst responsibilities for the firm's fixed income strategy.
He joined Provident Investment Counsel in 1995 and has been in the investment industry since 1984.
Prior to joining Provident, Mr. Kennedy was a portfolio manager/trader at S.T.W.
Fixed Income Management and Bank of America.
His experience as a portfolio manager includes active core portfolio management for tax-exempt accounts (the use of governments, corporates and mortgages) and municipal bond management for taxable accounts.
His background also includes time spent with Goldman Sachs as an institutional bond salesman.
He received his BS degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley and his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
