Nick is a Managing Director & Head of Portfolio Strategy at NewEdge Wealth LLC.
He develops and manages customized portfolios for NewEdge Wealth clients, conducts due diligence and portfolio reviews, and publishes market and asset allocation research.
He has over twenty years of experience covering the global economy and financial markets.
Prior to joining NewEdge, Mr. Nick served as a Senior Investment Strategist for The Macro Institute following a six-year stint as Chief Investment Strategist for Nuveen, the asset management arm of TIAA, where he steered the firm’s economic and investment views and was charged with communicating those views directly to clients.
Before that, he ran Tactical Asset Allocation for UBS Wealth Management Americas after spending several years as a strategist for Barclays Wealth.
Mr. Nick began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in the Markets Group, where he helped manage the Fed’s portfolio and monitored European rate and FX markets for the Open Market Desk.
Mr. Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Economics from Dartmouth College and a Master of Arts in Economics from New York University.
