Prior to embarking on a career as a bio-entrepreneur and investor, Mr. Robbins served as VP, Business Development, at Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. a medical imaging technology and clinical research services company which went public during his tenure and continues to trade on the NASDAQ exchange.
He was the 7th employee and first business person to join Bio-Imaging and headed all business development, marketing, sales, and investor relations for the company during its critical early years.
Earlier in his career, he held marketing and new product development positions at Warner-Lambert Company, a major pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products company that was acquired by Pfizer.
Mr. Robbins began his career in pharmaceutical advertising account management at the healthcare division of Grey Advertising, in New York.
Mr. Robbins earned his M.B.A.
from Columbia Business School and his A.B.
from Dartmouth College.
He is the author of Seed-Stage Venture Investing: The Ins and Outs for Entrepreneurs, Start-ups, and Investors on Successfully Starting a New Business.

The VOFET's superior current-carrying capacity and its novel architecture give ORFID a distinct technical advantage for exploiting organic transistors to manufacture OLED displays. ORFID will also leverage its core capabilities to develop and commercialize organic RFID technologies. Organic electronics are expected to enable low-cost, high volume RFID tagging of items, 10 trillion a year by some estimates. The inherent printability of organic electronics means that the production of organic devices may one day be combined with conventional printing and packaging processes, allowing the fabrication of products such as smart packages, papers and textiles in the same pass.
