Mr. Strahl Prior to joining Stripes Group, Mr. Strahl worked at MatlinPatterson where he analyzed and executed deals for controlling stakes in distressed companies throughout the world.
He worked as part of a small group of professionals investing MatlinPatterson's second fund of $1.7 billion through both the public and private markets.
Mr. Strahl directed intensive due diligence efforts with legal and industry advisors to assist in quickly making investment decisions.
Before joining MatlinPatterson, he served in Lazard's Mergers and Acquisitions group in New York.
While at Lazard, Mr. Strahl worked on both buy-side and sell-side deals in a variety of sectors, ranging from heavy industry to consumer products.
He holds a B.S.
in Economics from Duke University, where he graduated Cum Laude.
