Previously, she was an investment director with OGCI Climate Investments where she invested in a portfolio of decarbonisation technologies.
From 2010 to 2017, Aruna led impact investments for the Soros Economic Development Fund in Sub-Saharan Africa promoting economic growth and sustainable job creation.
Aruna started her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse in New York, specialising in power sector leveraged finance and project finance transactions.?She also was an associate at Moelis & Company, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring transactions.
Aruna received a BCom with First Class Honours in Economics and Finance from McGill University and an MBA from INSEAD.
